Writing at times is a mystery. It’s something that captures the heart of your deepest thoughts, yet it can express years of our silence all at once. Those places that were to painful to speak of, to hurtful to let even a little sun shine on. Our human nature is to communicate, to let a least a few people into our secret world, the world of our thoughts and words from the heart. We see this in the Garden, God walked with Adam, not to get him to do something, just to simply talk, to hear him express his heart.
This is one of my passions, to write. There was a season of my life that God met me with great intamacy when I was writing out my joys, my prayers, my anger, my longing, my fears and my love for Him. So with this I will begin the journey of letting go of fear, fear of what people think of me, fear of being hurt again, fear of even being accepted. I think in part, when we write we are able to let go of things we have held on to for so long. We can write out things to God, things only He can see, things only He can heal. There is power in the written word.
Beautiful! Can’t wait to read more 🙂

Love this! I give all kids I know, especially teenagers, journals to write in. I’m helping my nephew write a book now. I love seeing people write, it’s such a beautiful thing. I’m hoping my health will get better for my book. Until then, if need any help let me know. Looks like you got a great start though!

Never fear what God has placed inside of you to share with those who need to hear it. You are walking into a new and beautiful time in your life. Like the song soars, “Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart, for you’ll never walk alone!”
